We wanted to give you a sneak peek at some of the content you’ll be able to experience in the upcoming March version of the public test realm before it eventually makes its way into the main Cheap new world gold. We hope you enjoy it!
THE MYRKGARD EXPEDITION WAS AT THE HEART OF TEMPEST
The story of Isabella will come to a close with this update. As you pursue Isabella back to Shattered Mountain, the main story quest line begins to unfold, culminating in an epic final showdown with her. Enter the Tempest’s Heart as you journey through the twisted capital city of Myrkgard, which serves as a portal into a corrupted dimension of reality. You’ll uncover the secrets of her past as you delve deeper and deeper into her corrupted brain.
The Tempest’s Heart is a five-player endgame expedition that takes place at the end of the game. Player level 60 with a Gearscore of 550 or higher is highly recommended.
BRAND NEW WEAPON: THE BLUNDERBUSS
The Blunderbuss is a ranged weapon that combines high mobility with potent close-to-mid range damage to create a devastating combination. Due to its position as the first weapon to scale in both strength and intelligence, it makes an excellent companion for bruiser or mage builds.
Adventurers will be able to progress through two different weapon mastery trees, which will allow them to choose between two different playstyles as they progress through the game.
The Containment tree is all about closing the gap between you and your opponent and unloading a barrage of hot lead into their faces.
The Chaos tree, on the other hand, is concerned with maintaining a safe distance while unleashing massive AoE damage on a large area.
With the release of the Blunderbuss weapon comes the launch of a new Legendary Weapon Quest series, which will run concurrently with the weapon’s release. Players should seek out new world coins in the Ebonscale Reach settlement once they have reached Level 60 and the highest possible skill level with the new firearm in order to begin this epic journey.
NEW EXPERIENCES, BALANCE UPDATES, AND BUG FIXES are all included.
In addition to the conclusion of the storyline and the introduction of the new Blunderbuss weapon, this update will include new encounters in the wild, significant balance adjustments to a variety of weapons, and a large number of bug fixes.
On the PTR, we’ll have more information on the Heart of Madness update’s release, including areas where we’d like to hear your thoughts before releasing the full Heart of Madness update to the main New World servers.
